New Delhi: Monsoon season continues across the country. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has forecasted descent amount of rainfall in Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal for the next three days. At the same time, light rainfall is forecasted today in states like Delhi, Punjab and Haryana. The department has said that torrential rainfall is expected in all these places on July 23 and 24. 


According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rainfall in Rajasthan, West Madhya Pradesh until July 22-24. Rainfall may reduce in North-West India after the next 24 hours, as forecasted by the department on Tuesday evening. Apart from this, Rainfall is expected in Delhi today.


There is also a possibility of very heavy rains in the hilly areas of Konkan and Goa and that adjoining Central Maharashtra, between July 20 and July 23. At the same time, heavy rainfall is expected in South Gujarat until July 23. After this, on July 24, it can increase and take the form of very heavy rain.


Heavy rainfall expected in these states too 


Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Sikkim, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Rayalaseema, Telangana and Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal may also face rainfall on Wednesday.


Some part of Rajasthan have started facing Monsoon winds from Friday, according to the Meteorological Center in Jaipur. Most places in East Rajasthan face a possibility of rainfall.


There is a possibility of light rainfall in the Interior region of Tamil Nadu, South Interior region of Karnataka, Rayalaseema, Lakshadweep and South Gujarat today. For your information, a red alert has been issued in many districts of Maharashtra today.
