Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde and Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis visited Ganesh Pandal in Mumbai’s Bandra on Saturday. Devotees present on the occasion welcomed the leaders with flowers inside the pandal, as seen in the video posted by news agency ANI on X (formerly Twitter). They offered their prayers to Lord Ganesha inside the pandal. This took place as Union Minister Amit Shah was in the state to deliver the Laxmanrao Inamdar Memorial Lecture at Mumbai University.






In a separate video posted by news agency PTI, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Maharashtra Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis were seen offering prayers and garlanding the deity amid the chants of devotees at Mumbai's Lalbaugcha Raja.






In another video posted by ANI, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde, and Devendra Fadnavis were seen offering prayers at the Chief Minister's residence also during Ganesh Chaturthi festivities in Mumbai. 






This happened as Governor Ramesh Bais, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy CMs Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar were present to attend the Mumbai University event. The lecture is organised in association with Sahakar Bharati, a cooperative body founded by Inamdar, who was a Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader.


The release said that the cooperative sector holds immense importance in the country’s development. The university’s Commerce, Management and Economics departments conduct studies and research in the cooperative field.
