New Delhi: The minimum temperature in the national capital was recorded at 8 degrees Celsius on Saturday morning, while a sunny day is predicted ahead, the weather department said. The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 23 degrees Celsius.

Moderate to dense fog occurred at several places in the city. Visibility dropped to 100 metres at Safdarjung observatory, the department said. At least 19 Delhi-bound trains were delayed by two to five hours due to fog in several parts of northern India.
