New Delhi: The Shivraj Singh Chouhan-led BJP government in Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday finally had a much awaited cabinet expansion as five ministers, including two from the Jyotiraditya Scindia's camp, took oath as cabinet ministers.
The five, including a womanand two ex-MLAs, were sworn in by Governor Lalji Tandon in the presence of state Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan at a simple function in the Raj Bhawan amid the coronavirus-induced lockdown. The five ministers who took oath to get formally inducted into the MP govt cabinet are Narottam Mishra (Brahmin), Tulsiram Silawat (Scheduled Caste), Govind Singh Rajput (Thakur), Meena Singh (Scheduled Tribe) and Kamal Patel (OBC).
