New Delhi: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Sunday announced a new organization structure for Gujarat with over 850 office bearers. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal-led party has appointed Isudan Gadhvi as the national joint general secretary of Gujarat, while Indranil Rajguru has been appointed the national joint secretary of the state.
The AAP has appointed Kishorbhai Desai as the state president (frontal organisation) and Manoj Sorathiya as the state general secretary.

Kejriwal congratulated all the new office bearers and extended his good wishes to them.

The move assumes significance as the assembly elections in Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-ruled Gujarat are due later this year.
The elections to the 182-member Gujarat Assembly, which has been ruled by the BJP for over two decades, are due in December this year.
Riding high after his party’s splendid win in the Punjab Assembly elections, Kejriwal has made frequent visits to Gujarat in the last three months.
