New Delhi: The Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi, today attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the demonetisation move.

Interestingly, today, the demonetisation step taken by the BJP government completed one month.

Notes ban resulted in 100 deaths, said Rahul Gandhi and added that the country is suffering because of this decision.

The cashless way of the transaction is only profitable for some companies, said Congress VP.

Rahul also took a jibe at PM Modi and said Paytm means "Pay To Modi".

Demonetisation is not a strict decision but a foolish one, Rahul said, adding-"PM should come to Parliament, we will make him understand."

He also alleged that Modi has taken the decision himself without consulting anyone and his decision has hard hit the poor and the farmers.

Meanwhile, Opposition leaders are observing the black day to mark one month of demonetisation at Gandhi statue inside Parliament premises.
