As panic gripped the national capital on Wednesday after an email, containing a bomb threat, was received by over 80 schools in Delhi-NCR, the investigating agencies are taking the help of Interpol to probe the matter, sources told ABP News. The move came after the investigators found that the email was sent across the schools from a single server located in a foreign country. 


The agencies suspect that the email originated from a server located in Russia, according to news agency ANI, quoting sources as saying. 


As concern parents rushed to pick up their children from school, police swung into action rushing its teams along with bomb disposal squad and fire tenders to service. Later, the Delhi police said it conducted thorough check of all such schools as per protocol and nothing objectionable was found.






"It appears that these calls seem to be hoax," the police said in a social media post on X. 


Delhi Lieutenant Governor, VK Saxena took to X and said that he has a sought a detailed report into the incident and directed Delhi Police to carry out a thorough search in school premises, identify the culprits & ensure there are no lapses.

He also requested the parents not to panic and co-operate with the administration in ensuring safety of schools and the children, adding that the miscreants and culprits will not be spared.


Mother Mary School at Mayur Vihar, Delhi Public School at Dwarka, Sanskriti School in Chanakyapuri, Delhi Public School at Vasant Kunj, Amity School in Saket, and Delhi Public School in Noida, Sector 122 were among the 100 school the recieved threats via email, as per the police officials.
