New Delhi: Delhi Police Special Cell on Tuesday busted Pak organised terror module as it arrested two Pakistan-trained terrorists. DCP Special Cell Pramod Kushwaha reportedly said that a total six people including two Pakistan-trained terrorists have been arrested. 


News agency ANI quoted the official saying that explosives and firearms have been recovered in a multi-state operation. Delhi Police says that the suspects were planning to carry out targeted killings and blasts across the country.


Addressing a press conference, Neeraj Thakur, Special CP, Delhi Police Special Cell said, "We have arrested a total of six terrorists, including two Pakistan-trained. We received an input from the intel that some terror activities are being planned in some major cities of India. Taking quick action, a special team was constituted under the supervision of DCP Pramod Mishra."


With the help of human and technical intel, it was analyzed that the network was spread across several states.


"On Tuesday morning, we raided several states. We have arrested one Sameer from Kota, two persons arrested from Delhi and three people arrested from Uttar Pradesh. Out of the 6 people, two were taken to Pakistan via Muscat where they were trained in explosives and firearms including AK-47. The training continued for about 15 days."


The official further informed that the arrested have stated that there were 14-15 Bangla speaking persons in their group who might have been taken for similar training. It looks like this operation was closely coordinated from across the border. 


The six arrested terrorists have been identified as Jaan Mohammad Shiekh (47), Osama Sami (22), Moolchand Lala (47), Zeeshan Kamal (28), Mohammad Abu Bakar (23), Mohammad Javed (31).
