CTET 2018: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will start the registration process of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) soon on the official website - ctet.nic. The examination will be conducted to appoint eligible candidates for the posts of teachers for Class I to VIII. The examination will be conducted in and around 92 cities across the country and scores shall be applied to schools of the Central Government (KVS, NVS, Central Tibetan Schools, etc.) and schools under the administrative control of Union Territories of Chandigarh, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep and NCT of Delhi. Patter of the exam:
• Paper 1 will be for an aspirant who wish to be a teacher for classes 1 to 5.
• Paper 2 will be for a candidate who wish to be a teacher for classes 6 to 8.
— Paper I exam time: 2 pm to 4:30 pm
— Paper II exam time: 9:30 am to 12 pm
• There will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) questions, in which the candidates will be provided with four alternatives out of which one answer will be correct.
• Each correct answer will carry one mark and no negative marking will be done.
• A person who scores 60 per cent or more in the exam will be considered as TET pass.
• Those who qualify CTET may also appear again for improving their score.
CTET 2018 exam language: CTET examination will be conducted in English, Hindi, Assamese, Bangla, Garo, Gujarati, Kanada, Khasi, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Mizo, Nepali, Oriya, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Tamil, Telugu, Tibetan and Urdu.
