New Delhi: Jailed conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar's counsel on Thursday wrote to the Director General of Prisons, Tihar Jail seeking action on the conman's request for a transfer from Mandoli jail as he alleged threat to life after Deputy Superintendent Jay Singh was deputed to Jail-14.

"Under the instructions of my client and upon his behalf thereof, I am submitting the present application before your good office. Further, it is requested that equitable actions may be initiated in this regard, in the interest of justice, equity and good conscience," the counsel wrote.

Previously, Sukesh wrote to the DG Prisons after Deputy Superintendent Jay Singh has been transferred to Jail-14 in Mandoli Jail where he is lodged.

"Superintendent Raj Kumar, has received more than Rs 1.25 Crores from me on behalf of Superintendent Rajesh Chauhan when I was lodged in Jail-04 in 2019 and 2020, thereafter in 2021 where I was again lodged in Jail-4 Tihar, Raj Kumar threatened me and again received more than 5 lakhs a week through multiple Paytm accounts given by him and the same was transferred through my secretary, and during my last writ petition before Supreme Court, a detailed affidavit was filed with records and about Raj Kumar, hence the matter is subjudiced," Sukesh Chandrasekhar wrote in a letter dated November 29.

"In regards to DS Jay Singh, he had along with his associate Asst. Superintendent when I was lodged in Jail - 1 Tihar this year assaulted me and used derogatory statements against my family as I did not accept his demands to retract the statement against the former DG Sandeep Goel. Thereafter, a formal police complaint was filed by me before Harinagar police station, and then the same was complained to Hon'ble Supreme Court, thereafter, Mr. Jay Singh was transferred from Jail-I Tihar to Mandoli," the letter mentioned.

Chandrashekar claimed that he was in grave danger from Raj Kumar, as well as Jay Singh as he has had financial transactions with them, which is on record in his ED statements and Supreme Court Writ. "I was assaulted by them, I am completely unsafe in any form," he wrote in the letter.

"I am hereby humbly requesting your goodself to either transfer me from this Jail or transfer Mr. Rajkumar and Jay Singh, keeping my safety and well being as concern. As my Supreme Court matter is now kept for 12th December," he further stated.

In a letter to Delhi Lieutenant Governor Vinay Kumar Saxena, Sukesh alleged that he was assaulted by CRPF personnel inside the jail severely injuring his private parts and that his wife was also abused. He asked to be transferred from “Delhi jail to any other jail across the country”.

The conman has written a series of letters to Delhi LG where he has levelled various allegations against AAP leaders.

In his first letter to the LG, Chandrashekhar had alleged that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal forced him to bring 20-30 individuals to contribute Rs 500 crore to the Aam Aadmi Party in return for seats and party postings.

In another letter, he alleged that AAP leader Satyendar Jain forced him to pay Rs 10 crore protection money when the latter held the Jail portfolio in Kejriwal’s cabinet. He also requested a CBI probe into the matter and sought permission to file FIR in the matter.

Last month, the Supreme Court sought a response from the Centre and the Delhi government on Sukesh Chandrashekhar's plea seeking that he be shifted from the Mandoli jail to any other prison in the country, as reported by the news agency PTI.

Chandrashekhar's counsel said after his disclosure statements that Rs 10 crore was allegedly extorted by Delhi's Jail minister Satyendra Jain, he is facing a threat to his life in jail. However, the AAP has denied the allegations
