New Delhi: The cost of commercial cooking gas has been revised and in relief to the consumers, the cost of LPG has been reduced by Rs 36 effective from today, According to an ANI report, with this latest reduction, a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder will cost Rs 1,976, instead of Rs 2012.50.  


  


This decision will provide some relief to restaurants, eateries, tea stalls, and others which constitute the largest user segment of the 19 kg cylinders.


Last month on July 1, the price of commercial LPG cylinders was reduced massively by Rs 198 in the national capital.  Earlier on June 1, the price of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinders was Rs 2219 in Delhi while in the first week of May, the price of a 19 kg LPG cylinder was hiked by Rs 50. On May 1, the price of a 19-kilogram commercial LPG cylinder was increased by Rs 102.50, to Rs 2355.50.


In April and March also, the prices of 19 kg commercial LPG have been increased by Rs 250 and Rs 105 per cylinder. LPG Cylinder rate is revised monthly for all the states and union territories in India. 


Meanwhile, the companies did not give any relief to the domestic consumers today, due to which the 14.2 kg LPG cylinder will continue to be available at the same price.  The price of LPG in India is determined by the state-run oil companies and is revised on the monthly basis.
