New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to revamp as he is set to induct 9 fresh ministers into his cabinet, a move which is being considered as a big step towards party's preparation for 2019 general elections. As per sources, PM has made space for former bureaucrats and parliamentarians in his cabinet. LATEST UPDATES:

The induction is set to take place at 10:30 am in the parliament house. As per reports, the nine ministers who are set to join PM's cabinet ministers include parliamentarians like RK Singh, Ashwini Chaubey, Satyapal Singh, Virendra Kumar, Gajendra Singh, Ankit Kumar Hegde, Shivpratap Shukla, former IAS Alfonse Kananthanam and Hardeep Singh. Also, 3 ministers are set to get promoted, of which one is Nirmala Sitharaman who is currently handling Ministry of Commerce and Industry. Sources said six ministers have resigned as part of restructuring for which the Prime Minister has chosen the power of four Ps - Passion, Proficiency, Professional and Political Acumen for Progress. Among those who resigned are Skill Development Minister Rajiv Pratap Rudy, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Minister Kalraj Mishra, Minister of State for Human Resource Developmet Mahendra Nath Pandey and junior Water Resources Minister Sanjeev Balyan.
