New Delhi: There’s no let up in the spate of heinous crimes rocking Western Uttar Pradesh’s Bulandshahr district.
A girl’s body was found hanging from a tree in Khanpur on Monday. The body was in a decomposed state. The victim’s family has alleged two strongmen in the village of raping and killing her.

The family has also lamented police apathy into the gruesome crime there by leading to no arrests so far.
Reports say, the girl went missing on March 13 and her body was shockingly recovered hanging on a tree in the village.
“She would have been alive if the police would have taken immediate action,” said a family member.
Superintendent of police (SP), Bulandshahr, Man Singh Chauhan said, there were no injury marks on the girl’s body but assured action against the culprits. “An FIR has been lodged. We will take action against reckless policemen and nab the accused soon.”
The postmortem report, however, has stated strangulation as reason for death
