The Border Security Forces (BSF) during the late hours of Friday intercepted two Pakistani drones and recovered narcotics from them in Amritsar. The first drone that violated the Indian Airspace by entering its territory was met with fire by the BSF Amritsar officials and just hours after the first, the second drone was also shot down, and suspected narcotics were recovered from it. A search operation into the matter has been launched.

BSF Punjab Frontier took to Twitter to share the visuals of the drones that were recovered.

A grey-colored drone can be seen in the visuals shared by the BSF. The second drone was also similar in color however it was carrying a bag of suspected narcotics with it unlike the first one.

This is not the first instance where the Indian Defence has shot down Pakistani drones in fact instances of drones carrying narcotics entering Indian terrority have become a common occurrence.
