PM Modi 3.0 Report Card: The Bharatiya Janata Party on Monday presented a “report card” of the first 15 days of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s third tenure at the centre. He was sworn in as the Prime Minister for the third straight term after the BJP-led NDA attained a majority in the recently concluded Lok Sabha polls and crossed the 272-seat majority mark, bagging 293 seats.


In a post on X, the saffron party gave an account of major steps taken by PM Modi after assuming office earlier this month. The works listed by the BJP included the expansion of the PMAY housing scheme, in which 3 crore additional houses were allotted.






The list also included the 17th installment of Rs 20,000 crore released under Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi, the inauguration and revival of Nalanda University (New Campus) in Bihar, Approval of an increase in the MSP for 14 Kharif Crops for Marketing Season 2024–25, Approval of development of an all-weather greenfield deep draft major port at Vadhavan in Maharashtra, approval of the development of Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport, Varanasi.


This comes after Congress leader Rahul Gandhi came down heavily at the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government, as Monday marked the first fifteen days since the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) came at the Centre.


According to the list of works shared by the BJP, the focus in the first 15 days of Modi 3.0 was also on wind energy and the services of the Indian Railways. The list mentioned Indian Railways' successful trial run on newly constructed Chenab Rail Bridge.


Approval of the Viability Gap 08 Funding (VGF) scheme for implementation of offshore wind energy projects, certain Indian Railways services (platform tickets, retiring rooms), and hostel stays exempted from GST, reopened all four gates of Shree Jagannath Temple, and set up a Rs. 500 crore corpus fund for the temple in Puri, Odisha.

The list also highlighted the success of ISRO in conducting the third and final landing experiment of the Reusable Launch Vehicle 'Pushpak'.


The list also included the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024, which was notified by the Central Government amid the row over the conduct of the NEET exam by the National Testing Agency (NTA).


On Monday, in a post on X, Rahul gandhi enlisted ten incidents and issues, including the recent train accident in West Bengal as well as the chain of terror attacks in Jammu and Kashmir. 


Training guns at the prime minister, Rahul Gandhi said that during all these events, "Psychologically on the backfoot, Narendra Mod is busy saving his government". He also stated that he would not let PM Modi "escape without accountability".


The 10 issues or incidents that he mentioned occurred during the first 15 days of the NDA government included: "horrific train accident, terrorist attacks in Kashmir, plight of passengers in trains, NEET scam, NEET PG cancelled, UGC NET paper leak, Milk, pulses, gas, toll became more expensive, forests blazing with fire, water crisis, and deaths due to lack of arrangements during heat wave."


He also stated that the "attack on Constitution by Narendra Modi and his government is not acceptable to usand we willnot allow this to happen under any circumstances."
