Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Uddhav Thackeray on Monday questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi about the abused directed against him and his family members. Highlighting PM Modi's "abused 91 times" remark, Former Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray stated: "During the Karnataka election campaign, PM Modi said that Congress has abused him 91 times. PM and his team have time to count the abuses but people from his party are abusing me and Aaditya every day. They are using abusive language, why is PM not stopping them? We will answer them in the same language."


Thackeray has stated that he will visit Barsu, the site of the proposed refinery in Ratnagiri district, on May 6. He said: "I will visit Barsu on 6th May to meet the local people who are opposing the proposed oil refinery. No one can stop me from visiting Barsu, it’s part of Maharashtra."


Uddha further questioned the reason behing selling Mumbai's land for bullet train. "Why this bullet train? Who will go from Mumbai to Ahmedabad? I don't know how many "Khokhas" they have taken from this... I will break them if they break Mumbai from Maharashtra, all projects have been shifted to other states," he asked. 






Slamming the state govt for shifting mega projects from Maharashtra, Thackeray said: “We will make pieces of anyone who tries to separate Mumbai from Maharashtra,” PTI reported.


Speaking at the gathering, NCP leader and former deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar said that the Shinde-Fadnavis administration is delaying the announcement of local body polls, including the Mumbai municipal corporation, out of fear of being defeated.


“This government has not been voted in by people but has come into being on the premise of treachery. The ability to win elections should be the main criterion for fielding MVA candidates in ensuing polls," he was quoted by PTI in its report.


Shinde Govt Will Collapse In Coming Days: Aditya Thackeray


Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aditya Thackeray on Monday slammed Eknath Shinde's government and claimed that the "state government will collapse in the coming days," news agency ANI reported. Speaking at a MVA rally, Aditya stated: "I am giving you in writing that the state govt will collapse in the coming days, there are no women ministers in the cabinet, and this govt is of builders and contractors."


Slamming Shinde's Govt, Aditya stated: "All the backing from the Centre is for Gujarat. We have Maharashtra day and Gujarat day today but Gujarat has two CMs which includes our CM (Eknath Shinde) too, all the projects have been shifted to Gujarat."









Aditya Thackeray further said that in the last 10 to 15 years, efforts are being made to reduce the importance of Mumbai. "The results of the Agriculture Market Generation Committee are enough to tell that the people of Maharashtra will not support the traitors. We have won 70 per cent seats," he stated, adding that  "regarding the issue of Barsu Refinery, we have no opposition to the development works, but the local people should be listened to."
