New Delhi:  The fate of Bihar will be decided today. Voting for Bihar Assembly Elections was done in three phases with 71 seats going for polls in the first phase, 94 seats in the second phase and 78 seats went for polling in the last phase. The results will be declared today and Bihar will know who will be their next Chief Minister of the state.


The BJP was leading in 68 seats while the RJD was not far behind with 63 seats. The Congress party had a lead in 22 seats.

Both the ruling JD(U)-led NDA and the RJD-led Mahagathbandhan seem to be making the most in the top constituencies. It is to be seen how the votes will play out in the 10 out of these 78 seats, including one of the state minister's seats due to the narrow victory margin witnessed in the last Assembly election. This time the elections are different as the composition of the alliances have undergone a change and the battle has only got fierce on these 10 seats Banmankhi, Kasba, Sikta, Raxaul, Gaighat, Harlakhi, Parihar, Chiraia, Jale, and Benipatti

Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut reacted to the early trends which showed Mahagathbandhan in lead and said that Bihar will witness Tejashwi fest from today. Sanjay Raut said that after 12 Bihar's Jungleraj will end and Mangalraj will begin. Sanjay Raut lauded Tejashwi Yadav for raising the issue of unemployment in his election rallies while BJP did not focus on the progress of youth.
