Bihar Board 10th Result 2018: Results of Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) Class 10th  are out. The results were announced by State Education Minister Krishnanandan Prasad Verma in a press conference. The result can be viewed on BSEB’s official website biharboard.ac.in shortly . Students can check their result by entering their roll number and roll code. Reports, however, say the website has crashed due to high traffic.


The overall pass percentage is 68.89%. It was 50.12% in the previous year. Prerna Raj has topped the Matric exams.


List of toppers:
Topper Prerna Raj from Jamui has secured 457 marks.
Pragya - second topper also from Jamui has got 454 marks. Shikha Kumari from the same region has also secured similiar marks.
Anu Priya Kumar from Jamui has attained the third spot.
Priyanshi Raj from Bhojpur is fourth in the topper's list.
Mahesh Kumar from Jehanabad is fifth in line.



BSEB conducted the exam in 1426 centres where 17.70 lakh students sat to take their exams. While the practical examination was conducted between 22nd and 24th January, written examination was conducted between 21st and 28th February.

BSEB’s class 10th result were to be declared on June 20 earlier but around 42 thousand answer scripts were stolen from Bihar’s Gopalganj which led to the delay in declaring the result.

This year it is believed that the results will be better than the previous years. About 50.17 per cent students passed the examination last year.

The Bihar Board topper scam had brought the result of Bihar Board under questions.
