Azad took to Twitter and said Sir Kanshi Ram your mission is incomplete, Azad Samaj Party will complete it.
The party will make the Uttar Pradesh 2022 Assembly elections interesting as the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Congress, Samajwadi Party (SP) and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) will fight to form their government.
A large number of Bhim Army supporters and workers were present during the announcement. The sources also said that 28 ex-MLAs and six former MPs also attended the event and took the oath. However, it was not officially confirmed.
Earlier, the district administration in Uttar Pradesh's Noida has denied permission for Bhim Army Chief Chandrashekhar Azad's event on Sunday, in the wake of coronavirus outbreak in the country, citing concerns and central government's advisory of avoiding mass gatherings. However, later, in view of the insistence of the workers to organize the program, the police allowed the event.
