'Kill Me But You Can't Steal Ram Temple Donation': AAP Leader Sanjay Singh Alleges Attack By BJP Supporters

Aam Aadmi Party leader Sanjay Singh has claimed that his house was attacked by BJP supporters on Tuesday afternoon because 'he exposed the truth of Ayodhya Land Deal'.

New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party leader Sanjay Singh alleged on Tuesday that his residence was attacked by the BJP supporters and some even threw blank ink on his door and nameplate. The AAP leader shared a video where he can be heard saying that BJP supporters have tried to harm him but he will expose them for the Ram Temple property row.

Sanjay Singh even said that even if people try to murder him he will not stop from exposing those people who are trying to steal the donation of Ram Temple made in the name of Lord Ram's name. He said that he is fighting for the truth and he will continue to do the same and is not scared of anybody.

The AAP Leader tweeted in Hindi, "My house has been attacked. Open your ears and listen carefully BJP supporters, no matter how much hooliganism you do, I will not allow donations to be stolen for the temple built in the name of Lord Shri Ram. May I be killed for this."

What are Sanjay Singh's allegations over Ayodhya Land Case?

The Samajwadi Party (SP) and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) have alleged corruption in the acquisition of the piece of land by the Ram mandir trust in March this year and controversy has erupted over the same.

The Samajwadi Party and the AAP held two separate press conferences on Sunday alleging that the land was purchased by the Ram mandir trust at an inflated price.

SP leader and former minister Pawan Pandey and AAP’s Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh sought a probe by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and the Enforcement Directorate (ED) alleging that a piece of land worth Rs 2 crore was purchased for Rs 18.5 crore.

The SP leader asked, “How did the value of that piece of land increase from Rs 2 crore to Rs 18.5 crore within five minutes."

Reiterating the same allegation, Sanjay Singh called it a case of money laundering. “Champat Rai, the general secretary of the trust, with the help of member Anil Mishra bought the land. This is a case of money laundering, and the government should get it probed by the ED and CBI,” said Sanjay Singh in Lucknow.
