New Delhi: Key opposition party leaders of different states are likely to mark their attendance at the swearing-in ceremony of Karnataka CM-designate Kumaraswamy on Wednesday.

All the anti-BJP forces will be seen gathering under one roof, signaling unity of opposition.

As per the reports, invites have been sent to Congress President Rahul Gandhi, Mamta Banerjee of TMC from West Bengal, Akhilesh Yadav of Samajwadi Party from Uttar Pradesh and Sharad Pawar of NCP from Maharashtra.

RJD leader Tejashwi yadav has even confirmed his presence in the ceremony.

Tejashwi was the one who put pressure on Bihar governor for formation of RJD government in the state following the example of Karnataka after Vajubhai Vala invited Yeddyurappa for government formation.

As many as 17 opposition parties have been sent invites for the ceremony.

The bigger idea is to huddle together the opposition leaders including Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu , Telangana CM K Chandrashekhar Rao among others, who hold important Lok Sabha seats.

It is being speculated that the opposition is uniting together to chalk out a roadmap fort defeating BJP in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
