Initially, the wedding supposed to be held in a 5-star hotel on 29th March but was postponed due to the lockdown. The family has taken Mumbai Police’s permission and has assured them that they will follow social distancing norms, Mumbai Mirror report says Yogita’s sister has in fact assured the police that there will be hand sanitizers and masks present at the wedding.

According to the Mumbai Mirror, Yogita is a lawyer and runs an NGO which distributes free organic sanitary pads to girls. She and Akshay who is related to Marathi actor Dada Konde’s sister were engaged in December last year. Akshay has worked in movies like Fatteshikasat according to reports.
Don Arun Gawli revered as ‘Daddy’ by his followers is out in parole. He was sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of Shive Sena corporator, Kamlakar Jamsandekar in March 2008. According to an IANS report, on May 21, 2008, Gawli was arrested, in Oct 2010, charges were framed against him for murder, criminal conspiracy and other sections, to which he and other accused pleaded not guilty. Arun Gawli has applied for an extension of his parole. The underworld during the lockdown has been keeping a low profile. Reports say that the Mumbai Crime branch is also likely to keep an eye on the wedding ceremony.
