New Delhi: After several videos of Army Jawan, BSF soldier and CRPF surfaced on social media; where each of them were complaining about some malpractice or the other, the Home Ministry has issued a statement saying, there is a strict restriction on posting any such videos with the consent of DG.

The soldier has now initiated a hunger strike in order to protest the 'injustice' being done with him.

Even the Army Chief Bipin Rawat on Friday, while addressing the media said that no complaints by troopers will be ignored. He also requested the soldiers to not post any complaints on social media.

The Army Chief ‘s statement came immediately after Army personnel Yagya Pratap Singh come out in open and released his video where he can he can be heard complaining against the authorities in Army and them making the soldiers do their personal work.

Yagya Pratap, who is placed in Dehradun, wrote a formal complaint to the Prime Minister’s office against the Army officials. In the complaint, he had mentioned that the officials have been making him do their personal household work.

As per the allegations levied by Yagya Pratap, he was transferred post his complaint and was “tortured” at length by his senior officers.

“I wrote a letter against the officials, post which I was put under scanner”, said the soldier.  He clarified in the video saying that he didn’t intend to spoil the image of anyone in the Army. “My seniors have been torturing me ever since I’ve filed a complaint”.

He also said that, “If anyone other than me, would have been there, that person would have committed suicide”.
