Kanpur: After losing at the Uttar Pradesh Panchayat elections, a Barabanki candidate took a JCB and destroyed an essential village road in anger. Upset by the state of the road the villagers which was not dug out complained to the officers of the district.


The road was built about eight years ago.

Former head Deepak Kumar Tiwari from Ahiran Saraiyan village of Subeha police station area of ​​Barabanki did so in a fit of rage. Tiwari was defeated by Pradeep, a resident of the village, said that this time Rambabu Shukla, a resident of Saina village. 


According to the villagers, he did this because he did not get votes. All of us collectively, have complained about this in the 'tehsil'. At present, the tehsil officials have ignored our iss=sue stating that they are busy with the elections.


On Wednesday morning, Tiwari reached the village of Aheeran Saraiya with a JCB machine with his supporters, Tiwari installed the JCB machine to destroy the Hanuman temple road and all the villagers could do was watch as it got ripped apart by Tiwari and nobody could muster the courage to ask the furious Tiwari to stop. 


The road was built but Deepak Tiwari about 7 years ago after the residents of the village asked for it as it would have made the commute to the temple much easier. The villagers also revealed that for the past five year, Deepak Tiwari's wife and his supporters have been holding the post of head.
