New Delhi: The deputy Chief Minister of the Uttar Pradesh KP Maurya has hit back at ex-CM of the state Akhilesh Yadav and said the later is unable to come out of the shock of Assembly election in which he tasted defeat. 

"The message which he wants to send is unacceptable by the people," Maurya added.

The former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Akhilesh Yadav had given controversial statement on Wednesday regarding martyred jawans.

He said "from every state security personnel have been martyred, but has anyone been martyred from the state of Gujarat?"

Interestingly, earlier also Akhilesh Yadav had attacked the state of Gujarat when he made fun of actor Amitabh Bachchan for advertising for the state's donkeys.

The younger daughter-in-law of Mulayam Singh Yadav, Aparna Yadav on Tuesday also indirectly attacked Akhilesh Yadav and batted for her father-in-law.

Interestingly, on Sunday, Mulayam Singh Yadav said that he "regretted" making Akhilesh chief minister in 2012.
