The posters which raked up a controversy had addressed Vishwas as a ‘traitor’ and ‘accomplice of the BJP’. The posters also sought removal of Vishwas from the party and thanked Dilip Pandey for revealing Vishwas’ truth.
The incident comes after party’s Rajasthan Chief Kumar Vishwas, was openly questioned by party’s Dilip Pandey on Twitter for taking a ‘soft stand’ against Chief Minister Vasundhra Raje.
Raking up a controversy, Pandey had raised very serious questions on Vishwas’ statement on Raje and said, “Bhaiya, you criticise the Congress leaders but say you will not speak against Vasundhara in Rajasthan. Why?”
Earlier, a video showing Vishwas’ address to party’s Rajasthan unit had surfaced where he was heard telling the party leaders that “trying to gain favours from Delhi leaders was not going to help them”. He also said that the “elections will not be fought on the agenda of ‘Maharani hatao’ but on issues like water and electricity”.
Even earlier fingers were raised at Vishwas with similar allegations of favouring Bharatiya Janta Party and conspiring against the leaders of AAP, following which rumours of Vishwas quitting the party had emerged; but he was later pacified by party Chief Arvind Kejriwal.
