Patna: A day after massive clashed erupted between RJD and Bharatiya Janta Party workers, where BJP office was attacked; the latter got on roads and launched protest against Lalu’s party in Patna on Thursday.

Over 200 BJP leaders marched on Patna roads in protest against RJD and also torched the effigy of Lalu Yadav.



On Wednesday, RJD workers launched violent protest against BJP, where BJP office was attacked and workers from both the parties were seen enraged.

The matter got escalated when Income Tax department raided 22 locations related to RJD Chief Lalu Prasad Yadav.



Lalu was accused of indulging in Rs 1,000 core scam by BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi.

Modi addressed a press conference a few days ahead of raids at Lalu’s residence and several other locations related to him, where he levied very serious allegations against him.

This enraged RJD workers who took to streets and started raising slogans against BJP.

Speaking against RJD’s ‘goonism’ one of the protesting BJP workers said, “Lalu has lost his mind after raids. RJD workers should be arrested”. He also added saying, “the allegations levied by Lalu are false”.

Another BJP worker said, “He would not let ‘RJD goons’ work in Patna. He added saying, “we would knock law’s door if required”.
