Yagya Pratap, who is placed in Dehradun, wrote a formal complaint to the Prime Minister’s office against the Army officials. In the complaint, he had mentioned that the officials have been making him do their personal household work.
As per the allegations levied by Yagya Pratap, he was transferred post his complaint and was “tortured” at length by his senior officers.
“I wrote a letter against the officials, post which I was put under scanner”, said the soldier. He clarified in the video saying that he didn’t intend to spoil the image of anyone in the Army. “My seniors have been torturing me ever since I’ve filed a complaint”.
He also said that, “If anyone other than me, would have been there, that person would have committed suicide”.
In the video, the soldier also said that “I have been called for a court martial”.
Reponding to the viral video made by the soldier, the Indian Army has also come out with a response. The Army said, “Considering the strength of the Army, it is possible to have a soldier who has a problem against the system”. The Army also added saying that a probe has been launched in the case.
