New Delhi: The Member of Parliament (MP) from Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Bhagwant Mann on Monday said local people are fed up with Shiromani Akali Dal and Congress in Punjab.

However, AAP MP clarified that he never instigated anyone to throw stones at SAD chief Sukhbir's cavalcade.

It is pertinent to mention here that in Fazilka (Punjab), four Akali supporters were injured and a police vehicle was damaged when a group of around 20 people threw stones at the cavalcade of deputy chief minister Sukhbir Singh Badal at Kandhwala Hazir Khan village in his constituency, Jalalabad, last night.

"I never instigated anyone for stone pelting", he said in an exclusive interview to ABP News channel.

"AAP is not forcing people to throw stones, people are throwing stones themselves", he added.

After 16th March when AAP government will come to power, Sikander Singh Maluka, Bikram Singh Majithia will be behind bars, said a confident Mann.

On being asked whether he is interested in becoming Chief Minister, Mann replied in negative.

"I don't want to be CM", he said.

"In front of my eyes Punjab is dying, I want to make Punjab, Punjab", he said while talking about his agenda.

"I have been informed by Punjab police intelligence that there is a threat to my life. Goons are hiding in the homes of Akali leaders in Jalalabad (Punjab)", AAP's comedian-turned-MP said.
