ABP CVoter Opinion Poll: ABP News conducted the Opinion poll of the 5 poll bound states West Bengal, Assam, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, And Puducherry after the Election Commission announced the dates for polls. ABP News asked the people about the factors which would dominate while they vote for the next government and analysed the data along with CVoter for each state to find out the mood of the people.
We also asked the burning question of the season that who they want to see as the future Chief Minister in each state.
People in all 5 states had many alternatives on their minds and below is the conclusion we got for the poll-bound states.

Who would be the best CM candidate for Kerala?
For the question to choose the best CM candidate, 38.5% people in Kerala would like to see Pinarayi Vijayan come back again as the Chief Minister for the next years. 27% people voted for Oomen Chandy of the Indian Nation Congress for the Chief Minister's chair. Kerala Health Minister K Shailaja's name was also suggested by 6.9% people who wanted her to see as a Chief Minister. 5.2 per cent people also wanted the senior Congress leader Shashi Tharoor to take the Chief Minister's chair.
Who would be the best CM candidate for Puducherry?
Though the Narayanasamy government failed to prove the majority during the floor test 38.2 per cent of people in Puducherry want him to become the Chief Minister again but the man who was chosen by the majority of 45.8 per cent people is N Ranagswamy.
Who would be the best CM candidate for Tamil Nadu?
For Tamil Nadu, the current opposition leader from DMK M K Stalin has been chosen as the best CM candidate in comparison to the current chief minister Palaniswamy who was selected by 32.1 per cent people in the state in the survey. 7.8 % people want Sasikala to rule Tamil Nadu while 3.2 per cent people would like to see Rajnikanth as the new CM though he has opted out of the elections due to health reasons.
Who would be the best CM candidate for Assam?
For the north east state Assam, the majority of people seem to be quite contented with the presented Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal as 43.3 per cent people want to see him back in the chair. 26.4 % people would want Gaurav Gogoi from the Indian National Congress to as the new CM face of Assam. 15.3% people have also opted for the BJP leader Himanta Biswa Sarma to become the Chief Minister of the state.
Who would be the best CM candidate for West Bengal?
Lastly, amid the political heat in the state, ABP News along with CVoter asked the people of Bengal about who they would want to be as their new Chief Minister and 54.5 per cent people in the state would want Mamata Banerjee to return again. BJP which is trying to make inroads in Mamata's turf has no Chief Minister face yet but 24.6% people in West Bengal voted for Dilip Ghosh as a suitable CM candidate. The second contender from BJP suitable for the CM post is Mukul Roy as 8.5 per cent people would want to see him rule the state. Congress leader Adhir Ranajan Chowdhury was chosen by 2.2 % people while Sujon Chakroborty from CPI (M) was suggested by 3.2 %.
