Aam Aadmi Party MP Raghav Chadha has been named in a supplementary chargesheet filed by the Enforcement Directorate in the Delhi excise policy case, reported ANI. "...at Deputy CM Manish Sisodia’s residence, there was a meeting of Raghav Chadha, ACS Finance of Punjab Govt, Excise Commissioner, Varun Roojam, FCT and officers from Punjab Excise where Vijay Nair was also present," the statement read.

Chadha has, however, not been named as an accused in the case by the ED.

According to the news agency, Raghav Chadha's name has been mentioned by Manish Sisodia's former secretary C Arvind in his statements.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Sanjay Singh are some other AAP leaders to be mentioned in the chargesheet.

Menawhile, Chadha issued a clarification and said, " I have not been named as an accused or even a suspect in any of the complaints filed by the enforcement directorate. There are no allegations whatsoever against me in the said complaints."

"It appears that in the complaint my name is mentioned as an attendee to some meeting though the basis of making such an allegation is not clear," Chadha further said in the statement.

Delhi Deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia was arrested by ED in the case on March 9 and is currently under judicial custody in the case.

The CBI and the ED had arrested Sisodia for alleged corruption in the formulation and execution of the now-scrapped Delhi Excise Policy 2021-22 and for laundering the money so generated.
