A special team is currently looking into the matter. The police said that the caller had been identified and soon he would be nabbed. Further investigation in the matter is on.

Neeraj Bawana is one of the most dreaded gangsters in Delhi and is currently lodged in Tihar jail.

He was in the spotlight recently after he allegedly vowed to avenge the death of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala. Moose Wala, who had joined the Congress months before the 2022 Punjab Assembly polls, was shot dead on May 29 in Mansa district.

Hours after the incident, Canada-based gangster Goldy Brar claimed responsibility for the murder in a Facebook post. Goldy Brar is a close aide of gang leader Lawrence Bishnoi, who is presently in Punjab Police custody. Punjab Police has said Lawrence Bishnoi was the main conspirator behind the killing of Moose Wala. Bawana's gang is a rival to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
