New Delhi: The Indian Meteorological Department on Friday predicted that Dense to Very Dense Fog is likely in some parts of Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana-Chandigarh-Delhi, north Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh during the next 3 days.


This year the weather in the country continues to change after every few days. In the month of February, where it is freezing cold, there has been more rain than normal. Meanwhile, according to the Indian Meteorological Department, many parts of the country will see fluctuations in temperature along with the outbreak of rain, cold, and fog for the coming few days.


In many states including Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, cold is likely to continue for the next 48 hours. Along with this, snowfall is also expected in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Jammu, and Kashmir, Ladakh.






Meanwhile, it has been predicted that rain is possible in many areas of Delhi, UP, Punjab, Haryana, MP, Rajasthan, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Himachal Pradesh, West Bengal and Odisha. 


According to the Meteorological Department, a Western Disturbance is persisting over North Pakistan and along with being active in Jammu and Kashmir, due to the formation of a cyclonic circulation over Northwest Rajasthan, snowfall is occurring in the mountains. At the same time, it is raining in the plains of Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Punjab, due to which the cold has increased. The weather is expected to clear in many places from February 6.



Cold Waves In Delhi, Punjab & Haryana?


Meanwhile, the cold wave may prevail in parts of Punjab, Haryana, and Delhi. There will be dense fog at many places in the morning. There is a Confluence Zone in Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh. Due to this, light rain may occur at one or two places in Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh and East Madhya Pradesh. There is also a possibility of hailstorms in many states including Uttarakhand.
