Eyeing a compact SUV this June? It’s possible that you will have to endure a long wait before laying hands on your favorite car. So here’s a simple compilation of the waiting periods on all the popular compact SUVs across 19 major cities in India to help you plan your purchase better.

Note: The above-mentioned data is only an approximation and the waiting period might differ depending on the variant, powertrain and colour chosen.

Hyundai Creta: The South Korean SUV commands the highest demand and that is visible in its waiting period as well. It has the longest waiting period among the lot but thankfully, buyers in Delhi, Kolkata and Ghaziabad have to wait for no more than a week. Faridabad, Indore and Gurugram residents will have to remain patient for a longer period of around two to three months. Kia will debut its Creta rival, the Seltos, this month on the 20th and it will be interesting to see how it affects the former’s sales when it’s launched later this year.

Maruti Suzuki S-Cross: The S-Cross is comparatively easily available with the highest waiting period of six weeks only in Chennai and Coimbatore. It’s possible to get a ready delivery of the S-Cross in Delhi, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Surat, Ghaziabad and Faridabad but that’s still affected by the availability of the variant, powertrain and colour choice.

Renault Captur and Duster: The two Renault SUVs have the same waiting period across the nation except in Indore, where you can have ready delivery of the Duster but have to wait a week for the Captur. Those residing in Patna, Coimbatore and Surat won’t have to wait much while Lucknow and Gurugram buyers will have to go through a 25 days to a month-long wait.

Nissan Kicks: If you fancy the Nissan Kicks then you might be in luck as it is readily available in Noida, Faridabad, Indore, Ghaziabad, Surat and Kolkata. Buyers from Pune and Bengaluru, though, will have to stay put for around 6 weeks.
