Redmi Note 9 Pro: The Chinese smartphone company Xiaomi managed to capture the Indian smartphone segment in less time with Redmi Notes emerging as one of its bestsellers. On Monday, the smartphone manufacturer unveiled Redmi Note 9 almost after two months ago the launch was announced globally.  Until last year, the company launched the first of its Redi Note in the first half of the year but this year Redmi Note 9 has been unveiled late because of the change in the strategy. What are the costs?

Under the budget smartphone segment, Xiaomi had remained a clear winner. This time a total of three variants are available for the Redmi Note 9 — 4GB+64GB, 4GB+128GB and 6GB+128GB. Redmi Note 9’s base variant will cost you Rs 11,999while the mid and top variant are priced at Rs 13,499 and Rs 14,999 respectively.

What are the features?

The new phone has a 6.53-inch Full HD plus DotDisplay powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 processor. It has a Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The display has a 19:5:9 ratio. You can increase its maximum brightness up to 450 nits which makes it easier to use in direct sunlight.

It has a longer battery life with a 5,020 mAh battery which comes with a 22.5W charger. The storage is expandable up to 512GB via microSD card. You will witness a change in the design and offers a 3D curved back along with a better hold.



On the rear, it has a quad-camera setup while the primary camera is a 48MP camera. There is an 8MP Ultra wide-angle camera, a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro camera with a focus distance of 2 cm to 10 cm. Also, there is a fingerprint scanner on the back just below the camera module. On the front, there is a 13 MP in-display camera. This one has an added feature with a pro video mode.
