Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has accused the Bharatiya Janata Party-led central government for the violence breakout inside Red Fort on the occasion of Republic Day (January 26) when thousands of farmers carried out a tractor rally in a protest against the three farm laws enacted by the government.

Extending his support to the farmers agitation against the three farm laws, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief while addressing a 'Kisan Mahapanchayat' in Meerut on Sunday said "The entire Red Fort incident was planned by them. Many people told me that they were deliberately shown wrong path as they didn't know streets of Delhi. Those who hoisted flag were their (BJP) workers."

Launching a fresh attack against the saffron party during the 'Kisan Mahapanchayat' Kejriwal said, " Today, Bharatiya Janata Party's central government has filed cases against farmers for carrying out anti-national activities. Even Britishers did not have this courage. Even Britishers did not oppress our farmers to this extent, they did not fix nails on the ground. This government has left behind the Britishers.

Supporting the farmers, the Chief Minister said, "they call our farmers terrorists. Our farmers can be anything but anti-nationals."

Further in his address, CM Kejriwal termed the three farm laws as 'death warrant for farmers'. He alleged that the government wants to take away the land of the farmers and give them to 3-4 capitalists. Farmers will become labourers in their own fields, that is why it's do or die situation for farmers, CM Kejriwal said.

Ever since the farmers started their protest against Farm laws, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal showed solidarity with the farmers and said that the Aam Admi Party government is in support of the farmers and their cause. He asserted that the farmers' protest has the full support of the Delhi government.
