Renault recently introduced mobile showrooms primarily targeted at customers in tier II and tier III markets across India, and now its Japanese sister company, Datsun, is doing something similar. Datsun has introduced the second phase of Datsun Experience Zone, the first phase of which was completed in April 2017. According to Jerome Saigot, Vice President, Datsun India, Phase I of the Datsun Experience Zone was a great success, and so they decided to extend this activity to Phase II.
As the first phase, the second phase of the Experience Zone also provides an opportunity to potential customers to take a test drive of the Datsun redi-GO, GO and the GO+. The second phase will run from June 12 to September 9, and during these three months it will cover 650 locations across India and is expected to engage 50,000 potential customers. It consists of eight canter vans which will travel to 40 satellite cities, 82 districts and 250 tehsils that are within a 50-100 km radius of the nearest Nissan/Datsun showrooms.
The Experience Zone will also engage potential customers in various gesture-based games that feature the Datsun redi-GO, and other fun activities. This will help the Japanese automaker to connect even more customers at the grassroots level across the country. Here are the key locations of the Datsun Experience Zone Phase II.
