New Delhi: Amid ruckus and uproar over the Adani issue by Opposition parties in the Parliament and on roads, a video of a Congress worker dressed as a groom trying to cross police barricades came as a comic relief. In a visual shared by news agency ANI, a party worker could be seen wearing a white kurta pajama and a turban topped with a garland made of Rs 2,000 currency notes.
The protester could be seen being tossed between police personnel and party workers over the barricades as the protester tried to cross the barricading.
Amid the commotion, a police officer could be heard asking the protester to come down.

The Congress party has been cornering the government on the Adani issue demanding the constitution of a Joint Parliamentary Committee to probe the report by Hindenburg Research against the Indian conglomerate.
MPs of several Opposition parties formed a human chain inside the Parliament complex today to raise their demand for the same.
"The demand for which we protested yesterday is the same today. We have a demand for JPC but this government is not accepting, so today we formed a human chain. Why are they scared for JPC when they have majority," said Congress President and Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha, Mallikarjun Kharge.
Both the Houses of the Parliament were also adjourned briefly in the day after the Opposition created ruckus in an attempt to stall the proceedings of the Houses.
On Wednesday, the like-minded Opposition parties took out a protest march from Parliament House to the Enforcement Directorate office to submit a complaint against the Adani Group but were barred from moving forward by the police.
