According to the Election Commission, Congress has won the Dhariawad Assembly constituency in Rajasthan by-poll elections with a margin of 18,725 votes. An independent candidate has secured the second position while the BJP remained at a distant third.
The polling body also informed that Congress is leading in Vallabhnagar assembly seat with a margin of 20,400 votes, RLP trailing and independent candidate in on the third spot while the BJP remains at fourth.
BJP and Congress have won one seat each in Karnataka by-polls. According to the Election Commission, Congress won the Hangal seat with a margin of 7373 votes, BJP stood second and JD(S) third.
Meanwhile, BJP won the Sindgi seats with a margin of 31,185 votes, keeping Congress at second spot and JD(S) third.
Shiv Sena candidate Kalavati Delkar was ahead in the race for the Lok Sabha seat of Dadra Nagar Haveli with a lead of 42,342 votes. The seat fell vacant following the death of Mohan Delkar, the Independent MP from the constituency, in February.
In a massive setback for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Congress has won all three Assembly seats - Fatehpur, Jubbal-Kotkhai, Arki and a Lok Sabha seat on Mandi in Himachal Pradesh that went to by-polls on October 30, the Election Commission informed.

In Mandi parliamentary seat, late chief minister Virbhadra Singh's wife Pratibha Singh of the Congress is leading with 5,920 votes over her nearest rival, Kargil war hero Brigadier (retd) Khushal Thakur of the BJP.
After 12 rounds of counting in the Jubbal-Kotkhai assembly seat, Bragta is leading with 2,331 votes over his nearest rival Rohit Thakur (12,780) of the Congress. BJP candidate Neelam Seraik has so far got only 1,753 votes.
Bragta was in the BJP and was expecting ticket from Jubbal-Kotkhai after his father sitting MLA Narinder Singh Bragta's death in June due to post-covid complications but the BJP preferred to allocate ticket to Seraik.
In Fatehpur, Baldev Thakur of the BJP is leading with a margin of 924 votes over his nearest rival Bhawani Singh Pathania of the Congress.
In Arki, Congress candidate Sanjay is leading with 2,659 votes over BJP's Rattan Singh Pal (4,808).
Bypolls in the four seats were held on October 30.

In a letter to the chief electoral officers of Madhya Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Haryana, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Rajasthan, Telangana, West Bengal and Dadra and Nagar Havelli and Daman and Diu where bypolls were held on October 30, the commission said that its instructions on banning victory processions, issued in April, would also apply on the latest set of bypolls.
These instructions were issued to check surge in COVID-19 cases when counting was to be held for assembly elections held in Assam, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, West Bengal and Kerala earlier this year.
"No victory procession after the counting shall be permissible. Not more than two persons shall be allowed to accompany the winning candidate or his/her authorised representative (to) receive the certificate of election from the returning officer concerned," the letter said citing the April 27 directions.
The initial trends after counting of votes indicate that BJP is leading in 1 seat in Assam, RJD in one seat in Bihar, Congress in 1 seat in Himachal Pradesh.

The counting of votes polled in Assembly Bypolls for Rajasthan's Vallabhnagar (Udaipur) and Dhariawad (Pratapgarh) seats began
amid tight security arrangements on Monday.
Voting for the two seats were held on October 30.
The counting started at 8.00 am at the District Headquarters as per the COVID-19 related guidelines of the Election Commission of India, according to a spokesperson.
As many as 16 candidates - nine in Vallabhnagar and seven in Dhariawad - are in the fray.
The counting for Dhariawad constituency is taking place at the Government Senior Secondary School, Neemuch Naaka, Pratapgarh while the counting for Vallabhnagar is going on at Mohanlal Sukhadia University Campus in Udaipur; the counting of votes will be completed in 24 and 23 rounds respectively.
Polling was recorded at 71.72 per cent in Vallabhnagar and 69.10 per cent in Dhariawad.

Former Union Minister Buta Singh's son and Delhi Congress leader Arvinder Singh passed away today following a cardiac arrest, his family said.
He was 56 and is survived by his wife and two children, said Pawan Arora, brother-in-law of the former MLA from Deoli.
"He will be cremated at the Lodhi Road crematorium on Tuesday," Arora said.
Several Congress leaders remembered Singh as a simple person with deep social awareness.
"Shocked to hear about the untimely demise of my colleague and friend Arvinder Singh. He worked tirelessly for his constituency. He will be missed," tweeted senior Congress leader Pawan Khera.
