Russia has announced the evacuation of diplomats and embassy staff in Ukraine, as reported by AFP News Agency.
The upper house of Russia's parliament approved the use of the Russian Armed Forces outside the country on Tuesday evening, as reported by news agency AFP.
In a letter to the Russian upper house of parliament, President Vladimir Putin sought permission to use military force outside the country.
US on Tuesday heaped its praise on Germany for shutting down the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline after Russia sent troops into eastern Ukraine.

Jammu and Kashmir Police on Monday arrested a Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist from Handwara and recovered arms and ammunition from him.
