The Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) on Friday said diesel generator (DG) sets of capacity up to 800 kilowatt can be permitted for industrial and commercial operations in Delhi-NCR from May 15 only after their conversion to the dual fuel system (gas and diesel), reported PTI. However, their operations will continue to be restricted during the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) period, it said.

PM Modi To Flag Off Two Vande Bharat Trains In Mumbai On Feb 10
During his visit to Mumbai on Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off two Vande Bharat trains from Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) and open a new campus of a Dawoodi Bohra educational college.
Following his arrival in the city, PM Modi will first flag off the CSMT-Solapur Vande Bharat Express in the afternoon, followed by the second semi-high-speed train connecting the financial capital to Sainagar Shirdi, a shrine town in Ahmednagar district, according to railway authorities on Thursday.
The number of Vande Bharat Express trains departing from Mumbai will rise to three, bringing the total number of these semi-high-speed trains in the country to ten.
PM Modi To Inaugurate Bohra Muslim Community's Arabic Academy In Mumbai On Feb 10
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit the commercial capital Mumbai on Friday, February 10. During his visit to the city, the PM will inaugurate the Dawoodi Bohra community’s Arabic Academy in the Marol area of Andheri East.
A sizeable population of the Bohra Muslim community lives in the area. This will be the new campus of the academy which will be inaugurated in Marol by the Prime Minister. The original campus is located in Surat, Gujarat.
The inauguration of the university by the Prime minister is scheduled for 4.30 pm and the entire Marol area has been decked up for his visit.
After the opening of the Arabic Academy, the Prime Minister will also launch Vande Bharat Express trains on Mumbai-Solapur and Mumbai-Shirdi routes.
In view of Prime Ministers visit, the Mumbai Police have banned flying of drones, paragliders, all type of balloons and remote-controlled microlight aircraft on February 10 for security reasons. An order to this effect was under Section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code was ordered on February 3, said the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Operations), according to news agency PTI.

The second Small Satellite Launch Vehicle (SSLV) demonstration mission of the Indian Space Research Organisation (Isro) has been scheduled for February 10. The second launch comes after the initial attempt to launch India's national space agency's first'small' rocket launcher, the SSLV rocket, failed to insert its satellite payload into their proper orbits on August 9.
