PM Modi To Hold Roadshow In Agra Ahead Of Lok Sabha Polls
PM Narendra Modi is scheduled to hold a roadshow backing the BJP candidate for the Lok Sabha elections in Agra on Friday.
"Prime Minister Modi's roadshow will start in Agra at 4 pm on Friday," BJP state general secretary and Legislative Council member Govind Narayan Shukla said, PTI quoted saying.
In Agra, the BJP has once again nominated Union Minister S P Singh Baghel as its candidate.
Earlier, on Saturday, PM Modi held a roadshow in Ghaziabad in support of BJP candidate Atul Garg, marking his first roadshow in Uttar Pradesh since the announcement of the polls. Shukla also mentioned that Union Home Minister Amit Shah will address public gatherings organized to support the BJP candidates in Moradabad on Friday and Gautam Buddha Nagar on Saturday.

K. Kavitha Arrested By CBI In Excise Policy Scam, To Appear Before Rouse Avenue Court On Friday
Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) MLC, K. Kavitha, arrested by the CBI on Thursday in the alleged excise policy scam is to be produced before Rouse Avenue Court in Delhi on Friday. She was arrested from Jail no- 6 in Tihar at 12:50 p.m. on Thursday, According to sources.
“She will be produced in court on Friday at 10:30 a.m.,” the sources outlined, as reported by PTI
The CBI informed a Delhi court on Wednesday that K Kavitha was examined on April 6 in Tihar Jail in connection with the money laundering case pertaining to the excise policy scam.
Special Judge Kaveri Baweja from Rouse Avenue Court prolonged Kavitha's remand until April 23 in the identical case under investigation by the Enforcement Directorate (ED).
