BJP MP Pragya Thakur Complains Of Breathing Problem; Airlifted To Mumbai


 


Bharatiya Janata Party MP from Bhopal, Pragya Singh Thakur was today airlifted to Mumbai for treatment after she complained of problem in breathing. According to the to the media reports, the BJP leader was admitted to Kokilaben hospital in the city.


This is the second time in less than a month that Thakur has been hospitalised. On February 19, she was taken to New Delhi's All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) after she complained of chest congestion and a slight breathing issue.

In December last year, the leader, also known as Sadhvi Pragya, she was admitted to AIIMS after showing Covid-19-induced symptoms.


Thakur, who won 2019 Lok Sabha polls from Bhopal defeating Congress leader Digvijaya Singh, is a terror accused in the 2008 Malegaon bombings that left 10 people dead. This was the first time that a terror accused had become an MP in the country.


In the past, Pragya Thakur has made several controversial statements like calling Nathuram Godse, Mahatma Gandhi's assassin, a "patriot". She has praised Godse in the Parliament for which she apologised later for ‘hurting sentiments’.
