Slowly but steadily, bikemakers in the country are warming up to the idea of manufacturer-backed biking communities and ride experiences. It is not hard to see why – events and excursions like these bring together like-minded enthusiasts and foster a sense of community and brotherhood. Staying in tune with the times, Bajaj Auto has launched ‘Avenger FLG Rides’ Cruising Season 2017-18, a pan-India riding community initiative for its Avenger cruiser motorcycle brand.
Conceived and launched last year and now in its second iteration, the Avenger ‘Feel Like God’ Cruising Season is now a round-the-year initiative, comprising of 40 rides across the country to 17 destinations, covering more than 20,000 km in total. The first ride of this season will commence on 24th June, heading to the picturesque Spiti Valley in Himachal Pradesh, and will be followed by rides to some of India’s favourite biking destinations like Leh, Jaisalmer, Goa, Yercaud and Yumthang Valley, among others. Bajaj Avenger owners who take part in these rides will get to indulge in a wide variety of outdoorsy activities, ranging from paragliding and lion safaris to forest treks and bird watching.
Commenting on the introduction of the Avenger FLG 2017-18 season, Sumeet Narang, Vice President, (Marketing), Bajaj Auto, said, “Long distance group riding has gained tremendous momentum in recent years across India. Avenger brand embodies ‘Liberation’ and these FLG rides symbolize that value in the best way possible. It further helps the riders to get the best experience out of their Avengers. With Avenger FLG Rides, we want to encourage our valuable customers to experience the feeling of liberation in riding to the most breathtaking destinations. Avenger FLG has been uniquely designed with resources and infrastructure that promotes group riding in a safe and professional manner.â€
Bajaj Auto stresses on safety and security of the riders on every Avenger FLG ride, with each one being supervised by leading adventure operators.
