Veeru Devgn had choreographed action and stunt sequences for multiple Bollywood films since the 70s which included Roti Kapda Aur Makaan, Mr. Natwarlal, Inkaar (1977), Kranti (1981), Himmatwala (1983), Shahenshah (1988), Tridev (1989), Baap Numbri Beta Dus Numbri (1990), Phool Aur Kaante (1991) and many more. Apart from directing action sequences for films like Himmatwala, Mr. India, Khatron Ke Khiladi, Phool Aur Kaante, Dilwale and Laal Badshah, he had directed the 1999 film Hindustan Ki Kasam, starring Ajay and megastar Amitabh Bachchan.

Ajay Devgn holds a prayer meet(Chautha) for his late father Veeru Devgan who left for heavenly abode on Monday May 27th due to age related issues.

The Devgn family, Ajay, Kajol, daughter Nysa and Veeru Devgan's wife Veena reached the venue for the prayer meet in the evening today and this was followed by Bollywood celebrities who continue to arrive to offer their prayers for the departed soul.

It was heartbreaking to see late Veeru Devgan's grand daughter Nysa Devgn breaking into tears at his prayer meet. Father Ajay Devgn consoles the daughter while she gets emotional on her Dadaji's prayer meet.
