New Delhi: Suhana Khan, the daughter of Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan, has been chosen as the new face of the famous New York beauty brand 'Maybelline'. The official announcement was made on Monday after Suhana's first media appearance in Mumbai. As far as films are concerned, she is all set to make her Bollywood debut this year with Zoya Akhtar's 'The Archies' and her affiliation with the global brand prior to the release of her film is just all too good.
A video of Suhana is doing the rounds on the internet where she can be seen in a lovely red outfit comprising a full-sleeved top and pants as she talked about the brand and her love for it.
She said, "Hi everyone. I am so excited to be here and see you guys again. We had such a good time filming. So I'm just really excited to be here and I can't wait for you guys to see everything we have filmed. It's an honour to be a brand ambassador for Maybelline after hoarding so many of their iconic products, especially their mascaras are amazing. But, yeah I am just super excited and happy to be a part of this brand and I can't wait to make it shine with all of you."
Netizens have taken to social media and also to reddit and have expressed their views. While some have congratulated Suhana for her achievement, with one of them saying, "OMG!!! How mesmerizing she is... Suhana Khan melting our hearts as she appears for her very first media interaction.", many others call it just a privilege of being a star kid.
One of them said on Reddit, "Looks and features are secondary, even SRK was not the best of lookers when he debuted, but Suhana Khan doesn't even have charisma to stand out", while another person told, "Eksha is a star. The rest of the nepo babies can go back to daddy homes. Zero appeal."
A third user also said, "What has Suhana achieved to be deserve such accolade....apart from being a known daughter....and then they say public gives unnecessary hate to celeb kids", while a fourth one commented, "It screams privilege tho being beside PV sindhu .Ananya Birla lives with Auto tune."

Apart from Suhana Khan, the other ambassadors of the brand are PV Sindhu, Ananya Birla and Eksha Kerung.
Meanwhile, Suhana's debut film 'The Archies' also stars Amitabh Bachchan's grandson Agastya Nanda and Boney Kapoor-Sridevi's daughter Khushi Kapoor. The comic book adaptation will release next year on Netflix.
