Gauri Khan recently launched her first restaurant in the heart of Mumbai amidst eminent people from the film industry, including Karan Johar, Bhavana Pandey, Maheep Kapoor, Neelam Kothari, and Seema Sajdeh. After the launch, Gauri shared a video offering a sneak peek into the opulent interiors of her Asian restaurant. As the creative force behind the fine dining establishment, Gauri has spared no effort in ensuring its grandeur.


The Decor In Torii:


Named 'Torii', the decors of the restaurant are a visual treat of glamour and exuberance. The restaurant welcomes guests with a bar adorned in red and golden complemented by atmospheric lighting. The place features bold and vibrant red and green tabletops, glossy low ceilings with captivating light fixtures, and expansive glass doors and windows from floor to ceiling. In addition, the ambiance is enriched with vibrant reds, soothing greens, and a touch of gold.


What To Eat In Torii:


As per a report by NDTV Food, the menu, crafted by Chef Stefan Gadit, offers an array of dishes influenced by global flavours. From fresh Nigiri Sushi and Sashimi to indulgent Maki Rolls and Signature Cold Dishes, there's something for every palate. In addition, there is a separate Charcoal Grill section that features dishes like Yakiniku Baby Corn, Caramelized Pork Belly, and Shrimp Kushiyaki.


Talking about the signature dishes, Torii serves Yakiniku Lobster, Truffle Mushroom Ramen, and Torii Steak & Chips, while its dessert menu has mouth watering options like Yuzu Mielle Feuille, Shibuya Toast, and The Tropics.


Sharing a short video of the restaurant on her Instagram handle, Gauri wrote, "Torii, where culinary excellence meets sophisticated ambiance. Venturing into restaurant design sparked a world of creativity for me. We have created a refined and opulent dining experience where every detail exudes unparalleled quality and glamour."






Explaining the concept behind the restaurant, Gauri said, "I am so thrilled to introduce you to my very first venture in hospitality. Torii means the gateway to a temple. For us it is much more than that. Every element here has been chosen to create a warm and luxurious ambience. The signature colours of gold, red and green are very prominent throughout the space, creating an airy yet cosy atmosphere."
