The Pran Pratishtha ceremony at Ayodhya Ram Mandir is just a week away and the country is eagerly waiting for the occasion. Stories of Lord Ram and Ram Bhajans are being shared far and wide and people are trying out different Ram Bhajans in their mother tongue. In appreciation, PM Modi is sharing them on his Twitter handle and he is all in praise of them for their melody and sentiments of devotion.

Recently, he shared a video of a Ram Bhajan 'Poojisalende' sung in Kannada by Sivasri Skandaprasad saying, "This rendition by Sivasri Skandaprasad in Kannada beautifully highlights the spirit of devotion to Prabhu Shri Ram. Such efforts go a long way in preserving our rich cultural heritage. #ShriRamBhajan"

Sivasri Skandaprasad was touched by this gesture of PM Modi and said that it is a great recognition for South Indian music, South Indian bhajan and Carnatic music.

"It is such a happy moment for me...I have no words to describe the emotion that I am experiencing now. It is a goosebump moment. It is a blessing from Lord Ram himself...," she further added.

Meanwhile, PM Modi also announced that he will be visiting South India for the next two days.

"Over the next two days I will be among the people of Andhra Pradesh and Kerala. Today, 16th January, I will have the opportunity to pray at the Veerbhadra Temple, Lepakshi. I will also hear verses from the Ranganatha Ramayan, which is in Telugu. Thereafter, I will inaugurate the new campus of National Academy of Customs, Indirect Taxes & Narcotics. On the 17th, I will pray at the Guruvayur Temple, Thriprayar Shree Ramaswami Temple and address a public meeting in Kochi where key projects will be inaugurated," he said.
