New Delhi: With every special day comes Google Doodle which highlights why the day is important. As this is the last day of the year 2021, it needs no more reason to be special. So, Google Doodle has decided to celebrate it with some confetti popping on the screens.
While visiting the Google homepage, a candy popper can be seen sitting on the second ‘O’ which is ready to pop anytime. As soon as it is clicked, it opens a new tab where confetti is popped all over the search page.

And to a surprise, if one wants to experience it again, there is an animated party popper on the right of the screen which would make it pop confetti again on the search page once it is clicked upon.
The other letters of Google are also coloured and decorated with fairy lights with a little party hat on the head of the letter ‘G’.
Google Doodle also has a message for the outgoing year saying, “That’s a wrap for 2021—Happy New Year’s Eve!” on its information page.

One can also see a map on the information page showing the countrywide reach of the Doodle. Besides, the page also has a compilation of some of the best New Year’s eve Google Doodles from the previous years.
The one from the year 2020 has a ticking clock that rang into the New Year at the stroke of midnight on December 31, 2020. Another one from the year 2013 can be seen with the digits 2, 0, 1, and 3 dancing with the disco lights, while the digit 4 waits for its turn.
