Netizens React To Alia Bhatt's Ramp Walk At Manish Malhotra Bridal Couture Show. Say, 'Alia Looks So Uncomfortable'

Alia Bhatt, who dressed up like a bride in a gorgeous lehenga was the showstopper along with Ranveer Singh at Manish Malhotra Bridal Couture Show.

New Delhi: Manish Malhotra, who is known for his innovative fashion trends, hosted an opulent Bridal Couture show in Mumbai on Thursday evening. The event exuded glamour, as it saw the presence of A-list Bollywood celebrities like Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, Kajol, Nora Fatehi, Alia Bhatt, Arjun Kapoor and others. The celebrities were dressed to the nines and made heads turn as they walked the red carpet.

Among them was Alia Bhatt, who dressed up like a bride in a gorgeous lehenga was the showstopper along with Ranveer Singh.

Talking about Alia's outfit, she donned a black and silver lehenga with a deep-neck blouse and a dupatta that she wore like a veil on her head. Her skirt had intricate designs in silver with zari work and motifs all over it. She completed her ensemble with a classic necklace and ring. Alia struck several positions and faces for the photographers as she walked the runway with ease.

She also walked with Ranveer Singh who looked handsome in a white sherwani paired with a brown jacket which had silver designs all over it. Both of them were all smiles and in the end, Ranveer was seen whispering something to Alia which made her laugh. Apart from that, while walking, Ranveer also paused for a moment as he went to meet his wife Deepika and planted a kiss on her cheek.

Netizens trolled them for the way they were walking and dropped their comments. One of them wrote, "What nonsense I think they don't know the meaning of ramp walk seems like they are attending some kind of Indian function," while another person said, "Alia looks so uncomfortable playing along with Ranveer's ott behaviour"

A third user wrote, "Are they models ... do they have the grace the supermodels have ... nonsense" and a fourth comment read, "She doesn’t look comfortable and looks so pretentious." 

Apart from all these, there were people who appreciated her look and lauded her for her beauty. One of them said, "Alia you beauty"

Talking about their work front, both Ranveer and Alia will be seen in 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani' which is slated to hit the theatres on July 28.
